Oscar Profitable Horror Movies, believe it or not they do exist! Right now there’s alot of buzz across the Oscars and not all of it is good. Horror fans have typically felt snubbed by the Oscars however now even mainstream film followers are questioning the choices and even the relevance of The Oscars. it’s for that motive I am looking again at a few of the better known Oscar winning horror movies.
The leprechaun is back and this time he has kidnapped the gorgeous Princess Zarina, in order that he might wed her and usurp her father as king of her dwelling planet. Nevertheless, a small group of Marines have been despatched to destroy the leprechaun (pondering he is some sort of alien). They are joined by their commander, the elusive Dr. Mittenhand; his plucky assistant, and a fairly biologist tagging alongside to collect any alien samples they arrive across. Things are about to get loopy on this boat.
Sure, See No Evil (the primary one) was a horrible movie. Effectively, perhaps not terrible, but not good by any means. So I was very confused when it was introduced that not only was a sequel being made, but by the Soska sisters (American Mary creators) no much less. And starring Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle. What the hell? Did they all lose a wager? But lo and behold, couple a bunch of talented horror creators with a terrible concept and – Alakazam! – they pull a pretty awesome horror movie out of their hat. There isn’t any particular twists or plot lines or anything fancy, just a few good quaint homicide demise kills.
Lifeless Clowns is a film a few group of clowns that parished when their circus prepare derailed and plunged into the water. The clowns have been by no means positioned. Fifty years after the accident, a hurricane hits the Florida town and the clowns emerge from the lifeless as zombies to seek a bloody, murderous revenge on the people that attempted to neglect them.
On the DVD commentary tracks, Wynorski and Mitchell discussed many details of creating the film, including an injury that the director suffered while serving to put together a stunt sequence, their unfriendly relationship with the Galleria’s security chief (and friendly one with the mall’s owner), the many stunning girls who had been a part of the solid, and ways in which they handled having little time or cash and finished their work on time.
